Our aim is to deliver a high quality, cost effective podiatry service direct to resident-patients to keep them pain free and mobile. And as Stockport’s only accredited podiatry and chiropody clinic, you can be confident that our service is of the highest standard.
Our team are all degree-level trained and HPC registered, which ensures that we can always be vigilant for any potential developing problems too.
The Moorside Clinic team offers:
- Routine care for conditions such as nails and callus
- Diabetic Foot screening
- Footwear and Pressure Sore Advice
- Wound Care
- SOS access for patients who require prompt treatment and are unable to wait on NHS waiting lists
We work closely with local NHS services, where we are then able to offer onward referrals, which may be of benefit to patients. The constant clinical checking of feet by our team can prevent problems such as ulcerations and speed up the referral process where needed to the appropriate NHS service.
Hygiene as a Priority
All of our podiatrists adhere to the highest clinical standards set by The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. This includes wearing new gloves per patient and single use instruments per patient too, as well as NICE Guidelines regarding foot care.
Ultimate Care
As part of our care home podiatry service, The Moorside Clinic assign a designated podiatrist for your home and an out of hours contact to a member of our team. We also operate a 48 hour turnaround if any resident is in need of an emergency appointment.
